Frequently asked questions

Does this work on zip and rar files?

Yes. It splits any file into parts by size, and the File Joiner rejoins them into the exact original.

Does it make a native RAR or ZIP multi-volume archive?

No. It creates simple numbered parts (.001, .002 …) that rejoin to the original byte-for-byte. It does not produce proprietary RAR volumes or extract archives.

Is my file uploaded?

No. Splitting happens entirely in your browser.
