No. This converter extracts the text into clean paragraphs. Preserving full layout requires heavy server-side processing, which this private, in-browser tool deliberately avoids.

Why did my PDF come out empty?

It is probably a scanned PDF — pictures of pages rather than real text. Those need OCR, which this tool does not do.

Is my PDF uploaded anywhere?

No. Both the reading and the Word file creation happen entirely on your device.
